Cable Vision is going to change soon

This has been roomered sense Google released the Android spec. I think someone is trying to beat them to the punch.

When they start letting you pick the channels you want & dump the ones you don't want , now that would be great news . They split channels that most people want into deferent packages so you have to buy the higher priced package just to get a channel or two that you'd trade 50 of the ones they give you with the lower package . Pay for a 120 channels to get maybe 20 you might look at . You can get a 150 channels for $ 50.00 . That would be 33 cents a channel . I'd be glad to pay a $ 1.00 a channel if I could pick them . Well I know thats a dream cause you probably couldn't ( & I know I couldn't ) pick 50 channels anyone would  want to pay for . Always hated hearing how much you can get for such & such price ( like there doing you a favor ) when you can't evan get the few you really want in the same package . Well thats my first rant of the year Always hated how cable & satellite company's run there business ...

Thats pretty much what we got over here. Competition in the telephone, internet and TV market. The telephone lines are open to any company, they just pay for the usage.
I got broadband at 54Mb for 37$ a month (6 mb up) telephone for 8.75$ a month (15 free hours and after that I can call for next to nothing, using up the 8.75 first) and Sat TV for 37$ too. The Sat I can choose my programs much more than I used to, now I only have about 6 or 7 channels that I really do not want.

And to think we are regarded a socialistic country :)
